Amy Isaly, MPT
Amy Isaly graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies and a Masters of Physical Therapy in 2001. Amy received the WVU Physical Therapy “Research Award”. Her group’s research was featured as a poster presentation at the Sports Medicine Symposium in 2001. Upon graduation Amy began her professional career at Roane General Hospital and then Marietta Memorial Hospital as a pediatric physical therapist. She has spent the last eight years working as a self-employed independent provider for WV Birth to Three. Amy has worked as a pediatric physical therapist on an outpatient basis, within several school systems in WV and OH, and with the WV Birth to Three system in homes and childcares. Amy began working with Mountain River Physical Therapy in 2013. She has worked in conjunction with occupational therapists, speech therapists, teachers and families for a team-based approach to treatment. Her passion is providing a comprehensive approach to helping children reach their full potential. Amy has experience with sensory processing, kinesiotaping, positioning, rhythmic movements, orthotic intervention, and a variety of techniques to promote typical motor development. Amy focuses on involving the family in therapy sessions and supporting families with the many challenges they may be facing.
Amy has two children of her own, daughter Taylor and son Cruz. She is married to Bill Isaly, MRPT Vice President of Operations and Business Development. Amy enjoys spending her free time being with her kids and attending all of their sporting events and extra-curricular activities.
