Joseph Trout, PT, DPT, MS, CSCS

Joseph Trout earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science degree at Liberty University in 2007. Following this, he worked as the manager of the personal trainers and fitness staff at the Lifetime Wellness Center in Marion, VA. Joe then continued his education at Marshall University where he obtained his Master of Science in Exercise Physiology degree with an emphasis in Strength and Conditioning. During this time he interned with Marshall University’s Football Strength and Conditioning program as well as the Olympic Sports. Following his Master’s, Joe attained his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree as well from Marshall University in May 2015 with special interests in orthopedics and sports medicine.

Joe has an extensive background in performance enhancement and the fitness industry working with all levels of athletes. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 2010, and holds certifications with Functional Movement Systems (FMS) and is also a certified TRX instructor. Outside of work Joe enjoys anything involving the great outdoors and sports.
